| 2nd day at microsoft.. so far its not too bad.. =)
i finally met my team.. well some of them at least..
my mentor is a physics major.. and is pretty cool.. hes got the classic physics guy look.. (the long hair and such).. my manager isnt too bad either.. hes a lot younger than my mentor from the looks of it.. in fact, everyone in the department looks like they are under 40.. most under 30.
I aslo got my computer today.. had to put it together myself and install software too.. but it was fun.. and the suprise as the end was crazy because i had no idea what the specs were until winXP was booted up and running.. the specs are CRAZY!! see the following:
- Athlon 64 X2 4200+ (dual core)
- 2GB DDR2 667Mhz RAM
- Radeon x1300
- 500GB hard drive
- one 19" widescreen in portrait orientation
- one 19" crt in landscape orientation
I am also going to be getting an unreleased smartphone for 'testing' purposes tmrw, sim and service all inclusive.. =D
the house here is also damn amazing.. i posted pictures on my parazz, but i need to add captions and need to edit some still.. i'll post the url here later
